Thermal wildlife detection, monthly fixed-point landscape frames from permanently marked stations, construction time-lapse, one underwater view of the lagoon, and live views. Public framings exclude nest zones and guest areas by design.

Cameras on this site are thermal wildlife cameras, fixed-point landscape cameras, one underwater camera in Lárvaðall, and the site's on-demand outdoor cameras on the station cabins, the sign posts and the Bakki plaque, aimed along the paths and never into a Podtel, its sauna and jacuzzi or a station door; their views are for our team and are not published here. No camera is placed inside any Podtel or station cabin that guests use, and the underwater camera is pointed at the water column, not at the shore.

Thermal detection event counts feed the wildlife stream; frames land from the on-site relay into the media store with checksums like every other raw file.

The underwater tile is a placeholder and says so. The camera is a fixed PoE unit on the same shore cable and mount as the lagoon hydrophone, so sound and vision come from one point and an acoustic event can be paired with a visual one. It is not installed. The tile flips to live of its own accord when the first frame reaches the media store.
