Your experience, and your choice.

Your stay follows the circuit; that is part of staying at The Outpost. Whether what the app records enters the research is a separate choice, made on your first morning, defaults to none, and can be changed at any time in the app; the stay is the same whatever you choose. With your consent the record of your steps, timings and how you said you felt is kept under a code, never your name or booking, and joins the Skerðingsstaðir research. Without it, the app runs the circuit and keeps only what it needs to run.

The results are published openly on the Research Labs as aggregates above a minimum group size: routes taken, steps completed, how days felt. Nothing there can be traced to a person.
